Hey all,       "Im Will Freed and I'm just going to address you in my own way"        I'm a Singer/Songwriter that was raised in WV playing Bluegrass Music in the church and at Festivals. I was raised by a guitar player named Dave Liles and my mother Terry. Dave played guitar for David Allen Coe, Johnny Paycheck and The American Eagle Band. I started playing at a young age (around 10) and never stopped.        I never dreamed of being anything other than a musician. Working hard to be a good guitar player shaped who I am today.        I moved from WV to Kansas City MO and start playing out right away. I would play wherever I could because I had a fire in my belly that could only be put out by gigging. Playing in KCMO I learned a lot. After about 3 years I felt I learned all I could and moved to Lima Ohio where I had connections and would be able to play more as a solo act.        I shaped a show from request and songs I had passion for. People seemed to like my show and I started playing 5 to 6 times a week within a year. Taking time to talk to the crowd and learn what they want to hear became a priority and I gained some popularity.        This whole time I was writing songs and wanting to play them but I did not have the confidence to only play original songs for a long time. I met John Heaphy a local biz owner and singer who loved my music and asked me if i'd like to make a album and of course I did. We recorded a album of my 1st songs called Sinners & Saints and it turned out really great. We got John Popper of Blues Traveler to guest star on the album and that brought us some attention as well as the songs being really great. I toured all around after we released the album promoting it. I played out about 6 nights a week all over the tri-state area. Even playing a house gig for 7 years every Wednesday night at Cranberry Resort at Indian Lake Ohio.        After moving to Columbus Ohio in 2010 my career really took off. I started getting request to play at all kinds of venues and events. I signed a contract with a agent and started playing the Festival circuit.        After recording 2 more albums Alive At The Room and SouLow I've been playing more original songs in my show as long as it's called for.        I'm honored to have so many great musicians enjoy my music over the years ! I met John Popper of Blues Traveler in 2006 and we hit it off and I asked him to play on my 1st album Sinners & Saints and he said yes. John and I became friends and I go to him for advice when I need some and he is always there to help. John has recently written a Bio book called Suck & Blow - And Other Stories I'm Not Suppose To Tell, and I'm honored to be mentioned in this book!       I’ve worked hard to become the harmonica player I am today. I started when I was 17 and did not take it seriously. But when I turned 21 I decided to take it very seriously because I want to be different. Now I'm hired on a regular basis as a session Harp player and I'm proud. To be mentioned in the worlds greatest harmonica players book is amazing to me and I'm so humbled!       I also got 2 of the greatest guitarist in the world on my new album "The Truth" Monte Montgomery & Elliott Randell!       Monte & I met in Dayton Ohio at Canal St Tavern when I was hired to open a show for him. He is a huge influence on my guitar playing and we have become friends. Monte brought me to TX to play his run of birthday shows in 2013 and I loved it.       Elliott Randell is one of America's greatest guitarist! He wrote the legendary guitar line in Reelin In The Years by Steely Dan as well as played with the SNL band in the 70's! I am now about to release a new album called The Truth and I am very very exceed about this project!       This album is a perfect representation of my sound and what I do live. I pride myself on connecting with the crowd and making everyone feel like they are part of the show. Being a entertainer is my passion and I give 100% every time I play. Playing live I tend to play covers that I feel like everyone will enjoy while working in the originals that will get a response.        I have state of the art PA equipment as well as great instruments. Sounding great live is very important to me and I take it very seriously. Playing live is my life and what I plan to do for the rest of my life. I want to do whatever I can do to play as much as I can for as many people as I can.        My love for music is what drives me and pushes me to be a better person and musician. I want to make people happy with my music and help people in need. Charity is a big part of my calendar and I love doing it. In 2014 I play 25 benefits and charity events and loved every minute of it. If I can help people with my music I will.       So if you are interested in me or my music and you are reading this, please know that music is all of me. It's the air I breathe. It has brought me through the hardest parts of my life and without it I would be lost.        If you hire me for your event you will get someone who cares about music and making your event special. There are plenty of links to music and videos to watch here on RVN so enjoy and I will say what I say to people all the time!        LOVE SOMEONE TODAY ! Will...

Hey all,

"Im Will Freed and I'm just going to address you in my own way"

I'm a Singer/Songwriter that was raised in WV playing Bluegrass Music in the church and at Festivals.
